A Custom Tent Wedding on the Shores of Lake Michigan

There’s something truly magical about a summer wedding on the shores of Lake Michigan. Recently, we had the pleasure of designing a breathtaking lake shore celebration, complete with a custom-built tent structure, lush floral installations, and unforgettable details that made this waterfront wedding one for the books.


A Secret Garden Entry & Ceremony Arch

Guests arrived through a secret garden entry, a whimsical touch that immediately set the tone for the day. The ceremony altar was framed by a massive floral arch, creating a romantic focal point for exchanging vows. This stunning combination of design and nature made for a picture-perfect, lakeside ceremony.


A Tented Reception with Summer Elegance

The custom tent structure was designed to maximize the beauty of the surrounding lake views while providing an intimate, elegant reception space. Inside, we filled the tent with a summer palette of lush, voluminous flowers — soft peach, dusty pink, raspberry red, sky blue, and touches of buttery yellow — bringing life and movement to every corner.


Long tables featured full floral runners, candlelight added warmth, and overhead floral installations gave the tent a dreamy, immersive atmosphere. Every detail was carefully planned to feel abundant yet effortless, capturing the essence of summer on Lake Michigan.
